This new residence finds itself happily situated in a quiet meadow overlooking Lake Whatcom. Natural colors and materials are showcased here, giving the home a peaceful and soothing feeling. Mixed woods such as white oak, fir and cedar warm up the soft whites of the walls and ceiling. Neither modern nor traditional, this house finds its balance somewhere in between. The details are clean and simple but the use of authentic materials and symmetrical architecture lend itself to a classic feel. The indoor and outdoors flow into one another with lots of windows, large gliding doors onto a deck, and nooks and seating at window side to enjoy the light and the views.
