If you live in Bellingham, you've probably already been there. On the corner of Bay and Holly, Camber has moved into what used to be a quiet and beige little comic shop and has transformed the space into the hottest new coffee and wine bar in town. And we all know how Bellinghamsters love their coffee!
This project was created with an amazing team of Camber folks, Spiral Studios, Bundle Design Studio, Chuckanut Builders, and Smith and Vallee Woodworks, with photos by Chris Dinottia. Taking cues from both classic and modern design principles, we wanted a fresh, clean lined space that also had richness and luxurious finishes. The finished product includes a blend of walnut, quartzite countertops, decorative cement tile, a plush black banquet, and maple shelving, with brass details. The original high ceilings and windows gave this space lots of light and airy-ness. Working on this project was such a great combination of favorites: design, collaboration, and coffee.
